Endicott women’s rugby is a club varsity program that competes for national championships in both the fall and spring semesters. Supported by the athletic department, the team receives resources including transportation, athletic training, and strength and conditioning. The program values competitiveness, camaraderie, and inclusion, while welcoming athletes from diverse sport backgrounds. Please note: rugby experience is not required, though an athletic background is preferred!
Practice Expectations

Be an active participant 3 times a week for 90-120 minute practice sessions

Practice times vary from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM start times
Strength and Conditioning Expectations

The program is supported by a dedicated strength and conditioning coach throughout the fall and spring semesters.

Attend team lifts 2x a week and follow a 45-minute lift plan from an assigned lift coach
Athletic Training Expectations

The program is supported by a dedicated athletic trainer throughout the fall and spring semesters, where student-athletes have access to book appointments online in the AT room.

High-Performance Pathways
High-performance rugby student-athletes have opportunities to advance and grow through National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) All Stars in January via 7s and 15s pathways, along with summer development with the New England Free Jacks Independent team in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Athletes may also compete with local clubs such as North Shore Rugby (D3), WER Boston Banshees (Professional), and other Boston and South Shore rugby clubs. NCR also recognizes student-athletes annually with All-American and All-Scholastic honors. You can learn more on the NCR webpage.
